Campaign Issues:

Frankly I consider my opponent Paul Luebke a friend and support him on a number of issues close to my heart, including opposition to local sales taxes and corporate welfare. Naturally, I disagree with him severely on how much of your taxpayer dollars he wants to spend on other programs as your Representative in Raleigh. We must severely reduce the size and scope of North Carolina state government.

The reason I am running is simply because I could not stand the idea of Paul, or anyone, running for reelection unopposed. Elections with only one government approved candidate on the ballot aren't real elections. I will use this campaign to promote open competition on the ballot in North Carolina and to ensure that all citizens, not just those who happen to be Democrats or Republicans, have an equal share of our system of government.
